The session

What a live event looks like

A set your audience can see, a control desk they mostly can't, and a switched program recording or streaming while you talk.

Outdoor events work too: cameras, headsets and cable runs, set up where the event is.

What we handle

Cameras, audio, switching and the stream

One booking covers the production side. You handle the guests and the audience.

  • 3 Sony a6400 4K cameras, switched live on a RØDECaster Video
  • 3 Shure MV7X podcast mics and wireless lavaliers, run through a 16-channel digital mixer
  • 2 LED lights with 26-inch lantern softboxes
  • Live streaming to YouTube, Twitch, X, LinkedIn or a private platform
  • Remote guests on a monitor, in the conversation
  • Our own battery power station: at least 6 hours for the full kit, with venue power for part of a longer day
  • An on-site engineer running audio, cameras and the stream
  • Raw files within 24 hours: multitrack audio, every camera's 4K ISO file and a switched master

Every venue and show has its own rules. We plan load-in, power and streaming with your venue contact or the show's exhibitor services.

Unique venues

If you have permission to be there, we can record there.

Rooftops, lounges and campsites. The venue doesn't have to be built for podcasts, because the kit brings what it needs.

  • Our battery power station runs the full kit for at least 6 hours.
  • Everything packs into cases on one hand truck.
  • The standard kit and set fit inside a 10x10 footprint.
  • Fully insured. Certificate of insurance (COI) available on request.

FAQ

Live event questions

Where can you stream to?

YouTube, Twitch, X, LinkedIn or a private platform. Live streaming is quoted with your booking. Some conventions restrict wireless streaming, and when they do, we work within those restrictions.

Can a guest join remotely?

Yes. Remote guests join on a monitor on set, so they're part of the conversation without being in the room. Mention it on the quote form so we can plan the setup.

Do you need venue power?

Not for most events. Our battery power station runs the full kit for at least 6 hours, which makes rooftops, campsites and rooms with no free outlets workable. A longer live day, like the on-location day rate (8 hours), runs on venue power for part of the day, and we plan that with your venue contact.

Are you insured?

Fully insured. Certificate of insurance (COI) available on request. If your venue needs a COI, ask for it when you book.

How are live events priced?

Quoted per event, based on your hours, cameras, streaming and travel. For reference, the on-location day rate is $2,999 for 8 hours. Outside the Las Vegas metro, the travel day rate starts at $4,999 per day, with flights, hotel and gear shipping quoted upfront and billed at cost. Booked time starts when we arrive and includes setup (under an hour) and teardown. Bookings are paid in full to reserve your date. We accept credit or debit card, ACH bank transfer, or check.

When do we get the files?

Raw files arrive within 24 hours by cloud download link, or we copy them to your own drive on site. That's multitrack audio, every camera's 4K ISO file and a switched master. The recordings are yours once the booking is paid in full. Full episode editing and social clips are quoted with your booking.
